FSSC 22000

The need for affordable, safe and good quality (Food)products has been increasing.
Furthermore there is more awareness of customers for these products to be produced in a socially and environmentally responsible way.
To fulfill this need, GFSI(Global Food Safety Instiative) provides an assurance platform for trusted brand to international food industry.
The FSSC 22000 scheme was developed for meeting requirements of international food field, and it provides independent ISO-based food safety management system for third-party audit and certification.

Certification Procedure for FSSC 22000

It follows same certification process as other management system certification process, however, additional requirements below are applied:

FSSC 22000 Portal registration

FSSC 22000 certified organization shall allow to register organizational and audit informaion on FSSC 22000 portal so that food related interested parties all over the world can refer FSSC 22000 certification status. FSSC 22000 Website : www.fssc22000.com

Unannounced audit

  • - For each certified organization, at least one surveillance audit shall be undertaken unannounced after the initial certification audit and within each three (3) year period thereafter.
  • - The initial certification audit (stage 1 and stage 2) cannot be performed unannounced.
  • - Recertification audits may be conducted unannounced at the request of the certified organization.
